Gustafson Electrical Service is a locally owned and operated business, founded by Jay Gustafson. Jay has been working in the electrical field for over 30 years. During high school, he attended Valparaiso Technical Institute, then went on to attend Vincennes University to study electronics.
After college, Jay began building his knowledge in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. However, since he grew up on a farm, Jay has dedicated most of his recent projects to local farms in Porter County. Additionally, Jay spent 10 years in 4H and has been a contractor, volunteer, and Celebration Sale supporter for the Porter County Fair. Through his experience working with the Fair and local farmers, Jay has gained extensive knowledge in agricultural electric work.
In addition, Gustafson Electrical Service has formed a great partnership with Generac Generators. This has allowed us to install and service over 70 generators throughout the last year alone! When you need backup generator installation, we are your solution!
